Austin based artist, Rachel Dickson, has been honing her artistic skills for the past decade. After the death of her brother in 2014 and then of her son's biological mother in 2015, she used art as a form of personal therapy. Rachel left her position in the sports industry to pursue painting as a full-time career in 2018. She uses art as a means to connect with others, and her work showcases the vast mix of emotions that encompass grief- including a raw appreciation for life. Rachel uses mixed-media; primarily acrylic, ink, and watercolor on linen or paper.
In 2020 Rachel began to experiment with creating golf-centric art after getting requests from people on the course. This married her passion as a new golfer and years of experience of working with professional athletes with her art career. She is currently open for commissions for clubhouses and personal collections.
She sells her original art and takes commissions. For custom commissions or art licensing/publishing inquiries please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
